(John McManus – I have always been known as “Tom” to my friends!)

Testimony 1-

A friend recommended talking with Tom. After a few weeks, I eventually decided to see Tom, however the first few sessions with Tom, I was still not opening up, or engaging in conversations with Tom.

I think it was only when Tom started talking to me about what I wanted in life, and what I felt that I thought I was able to do in life and work, and what I had done previously, did I then start to open up.

After explaining to Tom my past, and my ambitions, but what I felt was stopping me from doing these things, did I start listening to Tom, and he helped me to start breaking down walls.

I always remember Tom telling me, that no matter what you put your mind to, it can be achieved with time, determination, and self-believe.

One of the things Tom mentioned to me, was about things I used to enjoy doing. Mine was always drawing as a hobby, and have been told throughout my life that I was very good at this. I hadn’t drawn though for a number of years, but after talking to Tom about this, he gave me the confidence to draw again. I realized that I could still draw very well, even with my injury, and this gave me a huge confidence and self-esteem boost. I think this also helped me with my depression and anxiety a lot, as it gave me something to focus my mind, instead of my mind racing about worry or dread.

From then it was a case of what I could do, and not what I could not do.

Tom helped me a lot with this by encouraging me to take on challenges that I would have normally take on in the past, but in the recent years had avoided.

Tom’s “Six Human Needs” I have kept on my wall in my room since he first showed it to me, as this piece of paper of Tom’s advice means a lot to me and helps me a lot, as it’s like looking into a mirror, and remember what I have achieved, what I want to achieve, and what I can achieve, and I still surprise myself to this day, on things that I have achieved which before meeting Tom, I felt I wasn’t able too.

The “Six Human Needs” has given me direction and helped me in moving forward and achieving things in my life.

Prior to meeting Tom, I had very bad depression, and always the feeling of dread, that something bad was going to happen. After a few sessions with Tom, and ever since, the way I think now has changed to be more positive, and not always expect the worse. I look forward to each day, and it’s challenges and opportunities they bring.

Before meeting Tom, I never enjoyed learning, I always had a mental block, unable to concentrate more than 20 minutes, and due to my dyslexia, had low confidence in joining classes. Since speaking to Tom, I have started 3 new courses, which I am due to complete in the coming few months. This is something I never thought I would of achieved without the coaching I’ve received from Tom.

My future now is, I’ve already hit my rock bottom, but I am above that stage now, and don’t want to get there again. I feel with the coaching I’ve received from Tom, and the tools he’s shown me that I now use every day, will help ensure I never hit rock bottom again.

Every day may still be a challenge, but the tools, advice, and support, I have received from Tom over the year has helped me so much in raising my self-esteem, confidence, and believe in myself again. I feel stronger, and more eager to learn new things, and have a successful life. I am looking forward to going back into work, and especially passing the 3 courses I started. This is something I had not thought was achievable for many years prior to meeting Tom.

I still see Tom on a regular basis, and even though I never knew what a Life Coach was prior to meeting Tom, I understand the meaning now. He has helped me immensely and continues to do so to this day.

I think what helps me understand Tom’s advice and support he gives to me, is because I can see that he has lived a life, which I can relate to. Not just someone reading from text, but from someone who has gone through lives up’s and down’s, and has knowledge, experience, and advice that can be passed onto others that are in need and willing to listen.

Tom is a great listener, and has never rushed through things with me, which I enjoy. He lets me talk at my own pace, and listens well to the concerns I have in my life. His replies are always beneficial, and help me to come to conclusions on what decisions I should take, and what direction I need to live my life to the fullest.

I always recommend Tom to all my mates, as I know how beneficial it has been in my life, helping me with my confidence, self-esteem, wiliness to learn, to engage in support structures available to me, and trying new things. Tom has helped me so much in these areas.

I am happy for Tom to use my Testimony, or any extracts from this letter for any purposes he may want to use it for, in regards to promoting himself as a Life Coach.

I cannot thank Tom enough for all the help, advice and support he has given me over the past year.

Testimony 2

I began Tom’s Coaching Classes in November 2010. At the start of the course I was very stressed out by the pressures of life. I also have experienced low self esteem for many years and never really known how to overcome this. I felt unhappy in myself and did not know how to focus on the future.

Two months later I can see an improvement. Tom has helped me to deal with my problems. Tom has given me advice and support as to how to focus on my goals – and my talents.

I am even amazed myself that my self esteem is increasing. I don’t feel intimidated and afraid by people any more. I am still dealing with different areas of my life, and I am much more happier to embrace my challenges rather than runaway. Tom I thank you for all your help and if not for your coaching classes I don’t know where I will be. Thank you.

Testimony 3

Words alone are not sufficient to quantify the benefits and progression I have achieved due to my undertaking the program delivered by Tom.

Mine had never been hard and difficult life, quite contrary, in fact I had an excellent education, promising and bright future until I encountered a tragic period as a result of multiple bereavements and other unpleasant circumstances. However, after reaching a negative threshold at that period in life, a consequence of the aforesaid tragedies. One day I picked up the courage and made an audacious move to rid myself of the negative state of mind, or as I choose to refer to it as “my sojourn in despair” So I decided to consult Tom and eventually took up the program.

Tom’s life coaching approach is exceptional in it’s uniqueness. Unlike some other practices where the common practice is a “one fits all” solution to everyone else’s problem irrespective of how complex those problem may be. He adopts a combination of professionalism, individual touch and mentoring to ensure that the subject attains a culminating benefit at each and every stage of the program. His method is simple but effective.

It is like a journey with set-out itinerary of sequences towards an ultimate goal.

I am glad that I underwent the program.

I have achieved a great deal thus far and I am on the right track towards attaining that pinnacle of my desired goal.

The benefit of this program is invaluable and cannot be overstated. I will strongly recommend it not only to those with problems of the mind, as was my case then, but also to people in pursuit of career advancement and personal wellbeing.

In a nutshell, the basic criteria is an attainable ambition with determination and the program will equip you with the mental skills and fortitude to see it through. N N
